You will be responsible for the end-to-end user-centred design process for projects that impact Retail Mortgage Customers.<\/p>\n<p>As the User Experience Designer, you will lead within your team, research and analysis, support ideation, prototyping, stakeholder engagement, validation with end-users to facilitate a process of iterative design\/continuous improvement as you build out the user journey.<\/p>\n<h4>Key Objectives<\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li>We are looking for a UX designer that has been through the product life cycle to launch a brand new app &amp; product.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h4>Primary Areas of Accountability<\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li>Working directly with business stakeholders and product owners to fully understand requirements, utilising appropriate UX research methods to ensure solutions are validated with users.<\/li>\n<li>Engaging the internal design community, utilising, and contributing towards the banks UI design standards.<\/li>\n<li>Designing wireframes, prototypes, and design assets.<\/li>\n<li>Supporting the team, in an Agile environment, in the creation of user stories and acceptance criteria to ensure effective QA of design assets and deliverables.<\/li>\n<li>Facilitating team workshops and ideation sessions.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h4>Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities<\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li>Ability to write code &#8211; HTML &amp; CSS (SCSS flavor of SASS preferred when writing CSS)<\/li>\n<li>Practical knowledge of design tools &#8211; Figma or similar.<\/li>\n<li>Commercial UX experience using formal UX processes.<\/li>\n<li>Portfolio with commercial examples to share (if unable to share, provide a walkthrough of relevant examples).<\/li>\n<li>Solid Accessibility experience<\/li>\n<li>Accessibility experience (WCAG 2.1)<\/li>\n<li>Front End knowledge of HTML and CSS.<\/li>\n<li>Excellent communicator, able to influence team members, stakeholders, and the wider business.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h4>Education + Experience<\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li>Advanced degree or equivalent experience in graphic and web design.<\/li>\n<li>Minimum 3 years+ experience as a solid UX Designer.<\/li>\n<li>Experience working on E-commerce B2C Websites.<\/li>\n<li>Agile environment experience.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"author":1,"featured_media":0,"template":"","meta":{"_promoted":"","_job_location":"London","_application":"jobs@etechs.co.uk","_company_name":"Banking","_company_website":"","_company_tagline":"Smile, you're designed to.","_company_twitter":"","_company_video":"","_filled":0,"_featured":0,"_remote_position":1,"_job_salary_currency":"","_job_salary_unit":""},"job_listing_region":[47,43],"job-types":[39],"class_list":["post-21080","job_listing","type-job_listing","status-expired","hentry","job_listing_region-edinburgh","job_listing_region-london","job-type-full-time"],"_links":{"self":[{"href":"https:\/\/etechs.co.uk\/index.php\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/job-listings\/21080","targetHints":{"allow":["GET"]}}],"collection":[{"href":"https:\/\/etechs.co.uk\/index.php\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/job-listings"}],"about":[{"href":"https:\/\/etechs.co.uk\/index.php\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/types\/job_listing"}],"author":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/etechs.co.uk\/index.php\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/users\/1"}],"version-history":[{"count":4,"href":"https:\/\/etechs.co.uk\/index.php\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/job-listings\/21080\/revisions"}],"predecessor-version":[{"id":21335,"href":"https:\/\/etechs.co.uk\/index.php\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/job-listings\/21080\/revisions\/21335"}],"wp:attachment":[{"href":"https:\/\/etechs.co.uk\/index.php\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/media?parent=21080"}],"wp:term":[{"taxonomy":"job_listing_region","embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/etechs.co.uk\/index.php\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/job_listing_region?post=21080"},{"taxonomy":"job_listing_type","embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/etechs.co.uk\/index.php\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/job-types?post=21080"}],"curies":[{"name":"wp","href":"https:\/\/api.w.org\/{rel}","templated":true}]}}
